Six CAPT Graduates Hired by Pinnacle Airlines
Palm Coast , Florida (December 5, 2006) – CAPT is pleased to announce that six graduates of the CAPT program have been hired by Pinnacle Airlines. This brings the number of CAPT graduates hired by Pinnacle to 25.
Cadets Carlton Brown, George Giokas, Kevin Fitzgerald, Todd Jones, Jason Retslaff and
Jeff Rickey, were hired as First Officers and will begin training at Pinnacle’s Corporate
Education Center in Memphis in November and December 2006.
The CAPT Program provides a full immersion approach that trains individuals from abinitio to the highest standards of the commercial airline industry. CAPT uses the latest technology to deliver airline specific training, including in-flight video cameras, self-reflecting journaling, line operations safety audits, and curriculum built on a foundation of crew concepts and crew resource management while graduating with a Boeing MD-90 Type rating.
“Pinnacle has a very comprehensive interview process that lasts over two days.” said CAPT Program Director Gary Morrison. “They set exceptionally high standards, so being hired by Pinnacle is a positive reflection on our program.”
Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. operates as Northwest Airlink and is headquartered in Memphis, TN. Pinnacle operates 124 CRJ aircraft with pilot domiciles in Memphis, Detroit, and Minneapolis.
