Commercial Airline Pilot Training (CAPT) Program
Receives CAAC Training Authorization

Commercial Airline Pilot Training (CAPT) Program announced today that it has received official notification from the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China granting approval for CAPT to train students to fly for airlines in China.

After an inspection at the CAPT facility in Palm Coast, Florida, the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) deemed the facilities, program, curriculum and safety records at the school worthy to be added to the short list of approved flight schools outside of China.

“We are very honored to be recognized by the CAAC for our superior flight training program,” said Patrick Murphy, Executive Director of CAPT, LLC. “This is great for CAPT, but even greater that we will be able to help sustain the aviation industry for the future.”

“With growth projections in China at over 2500 pilots needed per year for the next 15 years,” continued Murphy, “the needs of the industry are staggering. Here at CAPT, we have a love for aviation and work hard to equip the world infrastructure with highly qualified pilots.”

The first class of students is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2007. Each of these students will be trained at the highest levels of flight training curriculum. In-flight training is conducted in brand-new Cirrus SR-20 and Piper PA-44 Seminole aircraft. Both aircraft utilize full-glass panel cockpit displays similar to those found in commercial aircraft.
