"Our mission is to develop tomorrow's career pilot through the most unique industry specific training experience that exceeds the expectations of our airline and candidate customers with uncompromising quality and safety."
CAPT sets the world standard in aviation training. The 12-14 month CAPT program continues that tradition, combining academic coursework, intensive simulator training, and flight hours. Scenario-based training exercises foster the development of analytical thinking. Smart classrooms incorporate the latest technology, including an instructor workstation, LCD projector, audio and video players, and Internet access.
Our flight training is designed using the most advanced concepts in instruction from self-critique to flight journaling to threat-error management.
The premier core course at CAPT is the Professional Pilot Course. With close to 1500 hours of flight and ground instruction, this intensive, 12 - 14 month course completely prepares students for entry into the regional airlines as a First Officer. The flight courses emphasize scenario-based training (SBT) rather than the traditional methodology of maneuver-based training (MBT). Not only does SBT accelerate the students decision making abilities, it also aligns with industry standard practices such as LOFT and Advanced Qualification Program training. In addition, CAPT uses a unique "fly away" approach to the cross-country portions of each flight course as students routinely fly out of Florida to such locations as Sedona Airport in Arizona, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Ashville Regional Airport in North Carolina.
Complimenting the flight courses is an academic-rich ground school program that is as demanding as flight. In addition to the required ground training for Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial Pilot and Multi-Engine, enhancement courses, such as Flight Physiology and Applied Meteorology, serve to build a broad and deep knowledge base for CAPT students.
For those wishing to pursue a career in commercial aviation, there is no faster, or better approach to success than through CAPT. Many airline pilot schools offer a similar commercial certificates, but only CAPT can boast a quick, 14-month program with more than 80% of the students receiving job offers from the airlines prior to graduation! CAPT graduates do not have to add up hours as an instructor, either, as CAPT graduates are hired with as little as 0 to 255 hours! Why? It's called reputation. The airlines know that CAPT candidates are far better prepared, having been through all necessary screenings, high standards of performance testing, and advanced career preparation by a faculty that knows the business. And no other flight school can claim 80% HIRED before graduation from only a 14-month program. That's track record.
