CAPT pilots graduate with a commercial certificate, a multi-engine and instrument rating, and a DC-9 type rating in a MD-90 EFD full flight simulator.
A "type rating" is the FAA term that means a pilot has demonstrated the aeronautical skills and academic expertise to captain a particular airplane. Type ratings must be earned to fly an aircraft weighing more than 12,500 pounds.
You will be competitive for airline employment after graduation.
