Structured Time-Building Packages

Time building at CAPT is an option for those pilots who wish to have more time in their logbooks. CAPT's fleet of new Cirrus SR-20s and Piper PA-44s ensure that each pilot will fly the latest, most technically advanced systems in General Aviation.

NEW Cirrus SR-20 Time Building

 

Fly the new Cirrus SR20 aircraft equipped with the all glass Avidyne suite and two Garmin 430s.

The SR20 is powered by a Continental IO-360 that puts out 200hp, cruises at 155 KTAS, and has an IFR range of 660NM at 65% power.

 

 

SR 20 Time Building Packages:

• 25 hours--$4,695
• 50 hours--$9,195
• 100 hours--$17,495

All Prices include instructor fee for oral and flight checkout,
SR-20 POH, and CAPT FOM.

 

NOTES:

• Must hold a valid Third Class Medical, Single-Engine Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating
• If customer has attended a previous certified Cirrus check out or transition course, the CAPT check out is a minimal qualification check prior to starting the time building course. CAPT reserves the right to require further training of the individual for approval to proceed.
• If customer has not attended a previous certified Cirrus check out or transition course, CAPT will require completion of the CAPT Cirrus transition course.
• Customer will be responsible to pay for landing, handling, and/or parking fees.
• For fuel purchases away from the Flagler County Airport the customer will be reimbursed for any fuel at the current CAPT’s posted price per gallon of fuel at Flagler County Airport.
• Tax not included

NEW Piper Seminole (PA44) Multi-Engine
Time Building

 

Fly the newest model Piper Seminole equipped with the all glass Avidyne Entegra flat panel display system combined with two Garmin 430s. Our Seminoles also include the Avidyne multilink system which includes access to XM Weather plus S-Tec autopilots and Ryan TAS (collision avoidance) systems. The Seminole cruises at over 160 KTAS and has an IFR range of 770 nm.

 

 

PA44 Time Building Packages

• 10 hours—$2510
• 25 hours—$6,200
• 50 hour—$12,000
• 100 hours—$23,500

Structured Time Building Packages require clients to use the CAPT Dispatch services for tracking aircraft. Destinations are subject to CAPT guidelines and approval.

 

For pilots without previous experience in the PA44 and NO Avidyne glass cockpit time, expect the following check-out course:

5.0 hrs.	Ground Training on PA44 systems	$220
4.0 hrs.	Pre & Post Flight Briefing	$180

For pilots previously having a checkout in the PA44 and with experience in Avidyne avionics:

2.0 hrs.	Pre & Post Flight Briefing/Exam	$90
2.0 hrs.	Checkout Flight	$90
	Total:	$180

 

Flight time to be deducted from Time Building Package.

All packages assume that pilots have airplane multi-engine and instrument ratings.

Completion of check-out courses will be based on the pilot’s proficiency. Actual cost may be higher.
